A large Canton famille rose vase. 19th/20th century

Of slender baluster-shape with a trumpet neck and foliate rim and applied with four writhing gilt chilongs to the upper shoulder and to the neck with two handles in the form of gilt Buddhist lions and their cubs. Decorated with a continuous figural scene of the Eight Immortals of the Wine Cup in a garden setting to the body, and to the neck with monkeys, deers, roosters and magpies.
