A Nuremberg parcel gilt silver tankard

Slightly tapering corpus resting on a thick basal ring, engraved with flowerheads amid auricular gadrooning. The domed lid with corresponding decor crowned by a model of a swan. The bifurcated thumbrest and cast scroll handle both decorated with cherub's heads. H 18 cm, weight 552 g.
Marks of Thomas II Stör, ca. 1630.
