A South German brass basin with an allegory of Vanitas

Decorated to the centre with a lady sitting on her dress with a flowering sprig and a mirror. Unidentified hallmark to the left rim. With a soldered copper hanging loop. Several minor repairs over cracks. H 6, D 22.3 cm.
