Carved three-quarters in the round, the reverse flattened. Extensively overpainted older polychromy. A figure of Saint Mark the Evangelist standing in lively contrapposto. The book in his extended right hand lost.
Losses to the back of the head, the aureola replaced. The figure and the separately carved lion mounted on a newer wooden plinth. Inscribed to the reverse "1900 Hütten Leogang Vogl". Height 81 cm (with base).
