A three- case inrô. Late 18th century

Displaying a boat with a very large blown sail and a rudder thrust into the waves, on the other side a large fishing basket with a flat lid in gold and silver takamki-e and hiramaki-e and inlays of mother-of pearl and gold foil on a roiro ground. Signed Koami Hidekiyo (Shinsei) saku. Nashiji and fundame to the inside. Brass ojime. A two-part lacquer manjû in shape of a fishing basket in maki-e. 19th century.
