A junyao bowl. Jin/Yuan dynasty, 13th/14th century

Of rounded conical form, covered inside and out with an opaque crackled glaze of creamy blue colour thinning to grey-brown at the rim and exposing the unglazed body at the foot. The ink inscription to the base possibly added in the 18th century.
