An elegant slender bronze vase. Second half 20th century

In shape of a very slender kotsutsumi with a double ridge around the waist. Purplish brown patina. Signed Masuo saku at the base. Tomobako inscribed on the lid Shushihandô kabin, and on the reverse signed Hara Masuo saku and sealed Masu.
Hara Masuo was born in Kashiwazaki in Niigata prefecture in 1934 and is exhibitor at the Nitten since 1957. He lives in Kashiwazaki.
