An early English mortar monogrammed GWE

Cast bronze with slightly dull brown patina. Tapering form with rounded flared rim. With horizontal mouldings above and below the C-shaped handles. One side with a central monogram. A braided motif band along the lower rim. H 15.5, D 19.9 cm. Weight c. 7.9 kg.
