An Augsburg silver goblet

Silver; gold-plated. Silver-gilt goblet with a round foot and slender shaft with four scroll appliques. The cuppa gadrooned to resemble a stylised bunch of grapes, this décor continuing onto the corresponding lid. Finial formed as a vase with scrolls (with a small loss). Brands: BZ Augsburg for 1618 - 22, MZ Hans II Weienmayr (c. 1588 - 1630, Seling no. 0280, 1043), tremolier stitch. H 26 cm, weight 260 g.
