Striking features of this half-length biblical figure are "the exaltedly spread hand" and the "masterfully tangled turban" (Anna Moraht-Fromm), which can be found in a similar way in the works of the productive Polack workshop. There are also notable stylistic similarities between this depiction of a prophet and a predella figure by Polack in the palace chapel of Blutenburg.
