A very large lacquer five-tiered box (jûbako) on a tray. First half 20th century

Displaying plantain leaves and trees on all sides and the lid in golden and silvery lacquer with a little kirikane for details on a black ground (partly faded). Red lacquer to the inside, fundame at the rims. An additional second lid. Wooden boxes.
