Armour with a Myochin signed helmet. Edo-period

comprising of a Tetsu-sahiji ryô-hikiawase roku-mai dô with five-lame blue-laced kusazuri. The 32 plate suji-bachi kabuto is signed 'myôchin nobuie, kao' and dated Tenbun 7 (1538) on a lucky day in August (?), with a five-stage tehen-no-kanemono of gilt-bronze, black lacquered fukigaeshi decorated with the Itô-family mon in gold and a three-lame blue-laced shikoro. An iron ryûbu menpô with a four-lame yodarekake, lips and interior lacquered in red. Sode, kusari kote with iron plates. Black lacquered hon-kozane haidate and sune-ate. Wooden box with iron fittings.
