Hanging scroll, depicting Kannon Bosatsu seated in meditation on a lotus throne, a lotus flower in the raised left hand, wearing a diadem with an Amida Butsu at the centre, and a pearl-studded collier, within a large nimbus (gachirin) with a total of ten bonji characters in gold. The background is completely filled with waves. Ink, colours, and a little gold and silver on silk. Fittings of gilt and engraved copper. On the back an inscription in ink giving the name of the bodhisattva, and naming the Kyoto painter and the …fukuji. Calligrapher of the bonji. Mounting damaged at the upper part, and improper (Western) restoration to the entire backside.
