A fine lacquer netsuke of a boy. Second half 19th century

Gazing up, the mouth wide opened, dressed in a voluminous, finely decorated kimono with a dense diamond pattern and six mon in gold lacquer, wearing a kinchaku. The removable kinchaku is attached to the cord and serves as a peg.
