An ivory shishi with a ball. Late 18th century

Seated on its hind legs and placing its forepaws onto a ball, the head turned, fiercely roaring to reveal a ball inside its mouth. The eye pupils inlaid in black horn. Inscribed in red Mitsuharu in an oval reserve. Restored.
