An Augsburg silver gilt apple goblet.

The base formed from three leaves supporting a branch shaped shaft picked out in brown and green. The gilded cup shaped like an apple with an indented lid and a small finial formed from green leaves. The underside of one of the leaves of the base engraved with an owner's inscription in Hebrew. H 12.6 cm, weight 111 g.
Marks of Marx Merzenbach, 1663 - 66.
