A Tibetan thangka of Buddha Amitabha. 18th century

Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne and holding the blue medicine bowl in his folded hands, backed by mulicoloured aureoles and nimbus, and flanked on either side by a bodhisattva. With Padmasambhava and Shakyamuni at the upper corners and Avalokiteshvara and the Green Tara in the lower corners. Framed and glazed.
