Katana. Azuchi-Momoyama period

Blade length: 70.1 cm, shinogi-zukuri with iori-mune and itame hada with nagare, ji nie, wazukani chikei and shirake. Gunome midare hamon ith hakoba and togari majiru. O-kissaki with boshi in jizo yakitsume style. Horimono: futasuji hi and kaki nagasu. Nakago: O-suriage ending in saki kiri with asaku katte sagari yasurime, mumei. Three mekugi-ana, two of them sealed with lead. Koshirae: iron tsuba with shishi, hills and bamboo in shakudo and gold. Gilt menuki in the shape of two tigers, fuchi-kashira decorated with a farmhouse beneath pine trees in a mountain landscape, fuchi signed: Nara Nobukatsu. Dark red saya with ishimeji lacquer work.
