Handachi Katana. 18th/19th century

Blade length: 78.4 cm, shinogi zukuri, iori-mune and chû-kissaki. Suguha hamon in nie-deki, itame-nagare hada, ara-nie, nijuba, ha-kizu, suriage-nakago with one mekugi-ana in kurijiri. Mumei. Rubbed and a few rust spots.
Koshirae: 19th century. Bronze handachi-koshirae, tsuba: iron, mokkô-shaped, clouds, iron menuki in the shape of shishi, black binding over same, saya: red-brown and black lacquer in ishime-ji.
