A cast iron cross pendant with a commemorative inscription

Black patinated cast iron. Pendant designed to resemble the iron cross with tendrils in relief and integral bail. Inscribed in a round medallion to the centre “FRIEDE D. 30 MAI 1814” on the front and “DIE VER/BUEN/DE/TEN IN PARIS” around the central date “D. 31 MAERZ 1814” on the reverse. H 3.2 cm.
