A 22k gold Hellenistic revival style bracelet

Flexible milanaise band with a central hinged oval motif in the archaeological revival style with chased decoration showing a female bust in the manner of an ancient coin surrounded by twisted gold wire and granulation, the terminals set with small garnet cabochons (ca. 3.7 x 3.2 mm). The lugs decorated with partially raised busts of youths and granulated rosettes, the hook and eye clasps with gold filigree acanthus leaves. Hallmarks: Fineness “22 c”, “Greece”. L 19 cm. Weight 82.38 g.
