A 14k gold cameo brooch

With a finely carved shell cameo depicting Bacchus in a crown of vine leaves, set within a Historicist repoussé surround with scrollwork and engraved floral decoration. Some minor dents to the back of the frame. The brooch findings and bail replaced. 8 x 7 cm. Weight 34.12 g.
