An Art Deco emerald brooch

A platinum brooch of raised oval design milligrain set with 68 old- and transition-cut diamonds (in total ca. 2.80 ct. J/K, vs) and small calibrated emeralds. In the centre a cushion-shaped old-cut diamond (ca. 1.50 ct, ca. 6.82 x 8.03 x 4.37 mm, L/M, si1) flanked on either side by Colombian emeralds (ca. 0.74/ 0.91 ct). With 14k gold brooch pin. Hallmarks: Vienna import stamp for platinum used since 1967. One emerald with a minor chip to the girdle. 3 x 5 cm. Weight 13.98 g.
