Decorated with two large Chinoiserie bouquet motifs surrounded by insects. The silver lid inscribed “Claus Schmidt/ verehret dieses sein Gevatter/ Siem Egge/ zum Andencken/ Geboren d. 31. Octbr. Ao 1796”. Unglazed base, blue crossed swords mark below the handle. Unidentified silver hallmarks.
