A Meissen porcelain figure as an allegory of sight / the face

Depicting a group with a lady looking through a telescope, a putto with a lantern and an eagle with outstretched wings picked out in finely painted early polychromy. Unglazed base with blue crossed swords mark, model number 1035, pressnummer 37., B in gold. One of the eagle's wings, part of the telescope and one finger broken, with older restorations. H 28.5 cm.
Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1748, produced soon after.
