A Ludwigsburg porcelain model “Winter”

Sumptuously painted couple seated before a Rococo architectural backdrop with a crowned bust of a veiled woman. The shepherdess with a lamb in her lap and holding a songbook, the gentleman playing a hurdy-gurdy with a basin of burning coals by his feet. Blue CC mark beneath a crown. Restored chips to the front of the plinth, minor restorations to the fire, fingers and book, the interior with filled firing cracks. H 23.5 cm.
