A pair of Baroque console tables

Eiche und Weichholz, wohl noch originale, elfenbeinfarbene und ocker ombrierte Fassung mit Vergoldung, roter Brocatello d´arzo macchia vecchia. A pair of decorative oak and softwood tables on four serpentine supports with the original green painted scroll feet (now faded to black). Carved with trelliswork and large symmetrical rocailles and presumably with the original cream and ochre coloured painting, gilding, and red Brocatello d´arzo macchia vecchia. Some minor losses to the polychromy, one of the aprons cracked, new wooden wedges in the interior, the back apron panels replaced. H 84.5, W 108, D 61 cm and H 83.5, W 110, D 62 cm.
