A mirror black-glazed and gilt-decorated brush pot (bitong). Kangxi period (1662-1722)

Of cylindrical form, covered to the exterior with a lustrous black glaze, turning to white at the mouth rim and interior, and painted in gilt with lotus. Inscribed in black to the base: Rapp 3.18.
