A pair of ivory and silver candelabra (fragmente). Around 1900

Consisting of a coiled dragon with a long pin, exhaling its breath which supports an elephant tusk, the end of the tusk is closed by a silver cap into which are inserted four bamboo-shaped arms supporting cups and flower-shaped dishes. (2)
Height ca. 44 cm

Provenance

From the estate of Dr. Ludwig Winter (1868-1920), who bought the candelabra on site in Tsingtau between 1905 and 1915 during his office as governor pastor.
