A Longquan celadon lotus and tortoise bowl. Song dynasty (907-1279)

With rounded sides and everted six-lobed rim in the shape of a lotus leaf with incised veins to the interir, to the centre with a moulded tiny tortoise in high relief. covered overall with a deep olive-green glaze suffused wih crackles. Wooden stand and box.
