A Satsuma lidded vase. Late 19th century

Of ovoid shape with a draped cloth around the shoulder and a tasseled cord, painted in enamels and gold with the Seven Gods of Good Luck, Okame, Daruma and children on a black ground. Signed Chizan and Shimazu mon. Glued onto a carved wooden stand.
