Very large tray (hirobuta). First half 20th century

Of rectangular shape with rounded corners, displaying a coastal landscape with farm houses underneath blossoming plum trees, and minogame on the shore with pine trees, above numerous flying cranes, all in gold makie on a rôiro ground, details of kirikane, on the outside more flying cranes. Tomobako, the lid with inscription reading, shôchikubai makie rôiro hirobuta ichimai (a hirobuta with pine, bamboo and plum motif in makie and black lack lacquer, one piece).
