Wakizashi. 18th/19th century

Blade length: 45.3 cm, hira and un-no-kubi zukuri, iori mune, itame ni mokume hada, gunome midare hamon with chikei, sunagashi and inazuma. Boshi: o-kaeri. Nakago: ubu with one double mekugi-ana ending in ha-agari kurijiri, mumei.

Koshirae: 19th century, iron tsuba with peonies and shishi in precious metals, shakudo fuchi-kashira with a boat under a crescent moon, kozuka with a horse. Black lacquered saya inlaid with mother of pearl, blue binding over same.
