Blade length: 28.3 cm, osoraku zukuri, iori mune, ko-itame hada, choji midareba hamon, hataraki unrecognisable, bo-bi mit sue-bi. Boshi: unrecognisable. Nakago: ubu with one mekugi-ana ending in ha agari kurijiri, kesho yasurime, mumei.

Koshirae: 19th century, sentoku tsuba with islanders dragging a bamboo log, signed: Kiyonao, silver fuchi-kashira and kojiri with shells, silver kozuka engraved with an octopus, together with a kogai. Silver menuki in the form of waves. Saya lacquered partly red and partly black, purple binding over same.
