Blade length: 30.2 cm, hira zukuri, iori mune, ko-itame ni mokume hada, o-notare midare hamon in nie-deki ending in yakidashi with choji ashi, nie sake and kinsuji. Boshi: notare komi. Nakago: ubu with one mekugi-ana ending in ha agari kurijiri, mumei. Possibly Kaga School.

Koshirae: 19th century, tsuba, fuchi-kashira, kurigata, kozuka and kojiri of sentoku with engraved karakusa motif, shakudo menuki in the shape of flowers. Ribbed and red lacquered saya, white binding over same.
