A four-case inro. 19th century

The body with a black lacquer background with graduated gold dust and with a continuous scene of autumn grasses including chrysanthemums, aster, susuki, fujibakama and kikyo, all in gold takamakie, hiramakie and kirikane. Nashiji and fundame to the inside. Minor traces of use, chip to the lower rim. Ivory ojime and ryusa manju carved and pierced with a trunk and plum blossoms.
