A three-case wood inro. 19th century

Carved in relief on one side with the three generals Ryubi, Kan’u and Chohi underneath a pine tree and on their way to the Daoist scholar Komei, seated at the window of his house, and a young servant boy awaiting the visitors. Cylindrical metal ojime with Mount Fuji, three nasubi and a falcon, in allusion to the dream that is supposed to be an auspicious omen for the New Year.
