Round, scalloped plate engraved with the coat-of-arms of the Rothschild family and the device "CONCORDIA, INTEGRITAS, INDUSTRIA". The integrally cast rim adorned with shellwork and scrolls. Diameter 26.8 cm, weight 565 and 542 g.
Marks of J. C. Klinkosch, circa 1880.

This pair of plates originates from an extensive service which the Rothschild family first commissioned from Odiot in Paris and later had additions made for by Klinkosch in Vienna.
