Three Louis XVI painted wall panels

Oak and hardwood wall mouldings, comprised of three large panels painted with pastoral scenes, rose garlands and a vase of roses beneath a trellis (H 244, W 95 cm), a smaller panel with a basket of roses (H 190, B 74 cm), five pilasters with trellis designs and ionian capitals (H 244, W ca. 26 cm), and two pairs of pilasters to fill the corners (H 244 cm). With losses, replacements and stabilised areas.
France, around 1770.

The central motifs of these panels are inspired by the prints of Jean Pillement (1728 - 1808).
