A Meissen porcelain tureen and cover with chinoiseries

Bulbous oviod vessel with handles formed as feather crowns worn by female mascarons. The baluster finial replaced. Both sides painted with chinoiserie garden scenes in large gilt rimmed reserves. Blue crossed swords mark on unglazed base. The baluster finial replaced, the tips of the feathers in the handles partially restored under chips, a chip to the base. H with lid 27 cm.
Circa 1735 - 40, the decor attributed to Johann Ehrenfried Stadler.
