A small Rinpa-style kiri wood tansu. 19th century

Of rectangular shape with six shallow drawers, on all sides displaying marsh marygold in inlays of mother-of-pearl, lead grey and green material and in makie on a natural wood ground. Bronze pulls to the drawers. Traces of use.
