Wakizashi. 19th century

Blade length: 34.4 cm, shinogi zukuri, iori mune, itame hada, o-notare hamon with nie and chu-kissaki, boshi: kaeri-fukae. Nakago: ubu with one mekugi-ana ending in ha-agari-kurijiri, signed: Biyo Osafune junin Yokoyama Ise (no) kami Sukehira tsukuru kore.

Koshirae: 19th century. Saya in red lacquer ishimeji pattern on black ground and one menuki. Shakudo kozuka, sentoku fuchi-kashira and menuki in shape of a Samurai. Iron sukashi tsuba with grass blades, signed: Choshu ju Masasada. Binding over same. Traces of use, scratches and spots of old rust residue (kuchikomi).
