A patriotic Berlin KPM porcelain sugar bowl

Model no. 10658. Comprising a pierced basket, separate inset and lid with oak finial. The lid inscribed ""NOCH. NIE. WARD. DEUTSCHLAND. ÜBERWUNDEN. WENN. ES. EINIG. WAR." (Germany was never defeated when it was united). The body decorated with the Prussian eagle, Archangel Michael, a burning torch with oak leaves and a sword with a laurel wreath in oval reserves. Blue sceptre mark, blue imperial orb mark with K.P.M, red imperial orb mark, black iron cross, decor no. 170/232 and "H" in black, various impressed and incised marks, H 28, D 17.8 cm.
