A Meissen porcelain tureen with rare underglaze blue Chinoiserie decor

Oval tureen with original domed lid with rocaille finial. The body and lid decorated with Chinoiserie scenes flanked by rocks, architecture and willow branches. Blue crossed swords mark with dot and K, pressnummer 32. The tip of one leaf of the rocaille finial restored. Inconspicuous firing cracks to the domed lid, the lower end of one handle reattached and retouched. H with lid 14, D 22.7 cm.
The porcelain Meissen, around 1760 - 1774, the decor attributed to Peter Kolmberger and Johann-Carl Möbius, among others.
