A Meissen porcelain tureen and stand with motifs after Teniers

Porzellan, farbiger Aufglasurdekor, Vergoldung. Round, fluted vessels. All pieces original. The finial formed as a bird and cherries. Decorated with peasant scenes based on the works of David Teniers the Younger in eight quatrefoil reserves. Blue crossed swords mark, pressnummers 21 (stand) and 24 (tureen). The bird's tail restored. D stand 24cm.
