A Frankfurt walnut cabinet

Burr walnut veneer on softwood corpus, solid walnut, brass and wrought iron mountings. Angular cabinet with protruding gable and corresponding base resting on five bun feet. The two doors and the front ornamented with deep concave and convex mouldings. The lock and lock plate finely engraved with strapwork and tendrils. With older restorations, for example over vertical shrinkage cracks to the sides. The feet replaced. In optically pristine condition. H 226, W 237, D 86 cm.
