The flat lid with a set-off rim and flattened corners. To the lid and all sides, as well as the inside and the tray a flock of plovers (chidori) in hiramakie on a mostly nashiji ground. A wooden box, the lid inscribed jidai baigetsu makie suzuribako (box does not belong to the object).
