A Tibetan copper alloy figure of Buddha Shakyamuni with cold gold. 14th/15 century

Seated in vajrasana on a double lotus base, his right hand in bhumisparsamudra, the left resting on his lap, wearing a cloak, leaving his right shoulder bare, his face with meditative expression, smiling lips, elongated earlobes, the curled hairdress with remains of coulour and usnisha, the last surmounted by a lotus bud. Base sealed.
