A Sinotibetan gilt bronze figure of Ekadasamukha-Avalokitesvara. 18th century

The Bodhisattva of all-encompassing compassion in his eleven-headed and eight-armed manifestation, standing on a separate wooden base. The body is sumptuously clad and richly decorated with stone inlays. Faces gilt and robe fire-gilded. Wear.
