An early 19th century silver gilt pearl and cushion-cut diamond bow brooch with 14k gold mount.

Set with natural demi-pearls and 87 cushion shaped diamonds (L/M, vs/si). Diameter of central pearl 7.5 mm. Presumably originally a shoe buckle with associated gold brooch mountings. One diamond lost. 5.8 x 2.8 cm. Weight 17.10 g.
Early 19th C., with amendments.
